TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Today was warm and partly cloudy, with temperatures topping out in the mid 80s. We saw a few showers pop up this afternoon, mainly to the east of I-75. The showers will linger in a few areas until sunset.
Temperatures will cool slowly this evening, eventually making it down into the upper 60s and low 70s. Skies will clear out overnight and the moon will be bright and beautiful.
Saturday warms quickly after a nice. comfortable start. Skies will start out mostly sunny and turn partly cloudy during the afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 80s. We have a small chance for a few afternoon, mainly inland showers that fades after sunset.
Sunday starts off around 70° and warms into the upper 80s. Expect plenty of sunshine and a muggier feeling in the air. A few afternoon showers will fire up along the sea breeze and make their way inland.
Next week starts out mostly dry with hot with highs in the upper 80s. You’ll notice the humidity even more during the mornings and evenings when it stays warm and muggy. Overnight lows will only be in the low-mid 70s.
The next best chance for rain comes at the end of next week. Early heads up for you future weekend plans, it looks like next Saturday could be pretty wet.
