Deputies with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office are investigating after one person was injured during a shooting Thursday evening at East Kentwood High School.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday (May 19) in Kentwood, Michigan, according to authorities.
WOOD-TV reports the shooting happened after the Crossroads Alterative High School graduation. There were about 60 students with family and friends at the graduation, which took place at East Kentwood’s stadium, school officials said.
A middle school concert was also happening in the school’s auditorium at the time, WOOD-TV reports.
Officials say the suspect is still at-large. No additional details have been revealed.
